The 10-Week Program incorporates a combination of education, cancer-specific Reformer Pilates and an in-depth exercise guide to reach maximal health outcomes. Each week the program aims to progressively increase exercise intensity and build knowledge to support your health journey. Exercise can help you through cancer treatment and recovery by increasing strength and mobility, reducing the severity of treatment symptoms and side effects, improving mood and quality of life, and may decrease the risk of cancer recurrence.

Meet Leah, your Next Step facilitator

The Next Step 10-week program is facilitated by our Exercise Physiologist, Leah Jenkins, who specialises in women’s health. Leah takes a particular interest in women’s health, cardiology and oncology, and has worked with clients during and after cancer treatment to improve their exercise tolerance and quality of life through this time.

She is passionate about encouraging women to improve their functional capacity and align exercise treatment with their personal goals, having seen the significant benefit this has on a person’s health and wellbeing.

The Next Step Program is designed to highlight the importance and benefits of light resistance, aerobic, and flexibility training, before progressing to regular exercise after cancer treatment. Her aim is to support women to take the next step towards optimising and prioritising their physical and mental health.
